Large Sunburst Crown Flush Mount, Iron, Gold Leaf
Spain, 1950s
Large hand-hammered iron sunburst crown ceiling light fixture with frosted glass panel difusser.
This ceiling flush mount was handcrafted in Spain at the Mid-Century Modern period in the style of Brutalism. The body of the light fixture is heavily decorated by the hammer marks and it has handcut iron leaves.
It has a nice aged patina with gold leaf finishing in bronze hues and it provides a good amount of light throught the large glass difusser.
The canopy and the chain shown at the images are for demonstration only
This crown ceiling light wil be gorgeous installed in an entry hall or main room. It can be placed as a flush mount or as a pendant chandelier hanging from a chain at the desired height.
