Nason Mazzega or Vistosi Flush Mount Chandelier Flower Sconce Murano Glass 1960s
About the Item
Sculptural Op Art Pop Art flush mount chandelier most probably made by Carlo Nason for Mazzega or Vistosi, Italy, 1960s. The amazing Midcentury light is made of hand-crafted Murano glass bowl discs in pulegoso glass technique in three different sizes, formed to a large flower and held by chromed screws on a off-white enameled metal lamp base. The ceiling lamp which can be mounted as wall lamp as well, takes nine E14 European standard screw bulbs to illuminate, we recommend LED bulbs which produce no heat. Wiring is good so all is fine working and ready to use. This beauty which stays in very good vintage condition with minor characteristic wear consistent with age and use, has a width of 46 cm / 18.11 inches and a height of 14 cm / 5.51 inches, perfect for rooms with flat ceilings or as eye-catcher and highlight mounted to the wall.
