Rare Gilt Palwa Flush Mount Chandelier Italian Murano Glass Spheres, 1960s
About the Item
Rare and magnificent gilt brass metal flush mount chandelier by german first class lighting company Palwa, Germany circa 1960-1970. The chandelier has lots of hand-crafted glass pearls and spheres of very faint amber shimmering shiny iridescent Murano glass combined with octagonal faceted crystal glass within a ring structure which is very rare. The flush mount takes six E14 standard screw bulbs to illuminate. The wiring is perfect so it is fine working and ready to use. Signed on reverse with the Palwa company label with model number it has a width of 42 cm / 16.54 inches and it is 27 cm / 10.63 inches tall, so perfect for rooms with flat ceilings. Cleaned with love this chandelier stays in very good to excellent original vintage condition. Typical for Palwa, Bakalowits and Lobmeyr lighting, this flush mount chandelier is made with best materials and is of very high quality. Illuminated or unlit this timeless beauty is an eye-catcher. It would be a perfect addition and upgrade for any Mid-Century Modern or noble stylish interior.
