French Brutalist Sunburst Ceiling Light in Bronze Gilt Patina
Sunburst Light Fixture with Jagged Leaves and Spikes Detail, France, 1950s
This stunning hand-hammered gilt iron sunburst ceiling light was manufactured at the late Art Deco Period. It has accents in transition to Brutalist style.
A sunburst fixture that features curly iron nails as sun beams alternating with leaves with jagged edges surrounding the central light for an exposed bulb.
It has a terrific aged patina showing its original gold leaf gilding in bronze tone.
This sunburst ceiling fixture can be placed flush mounted or as a pendant adding a chain and a canopy.
Newly wired.
Due to its design this is a rare find.
