About the Item
Great Stilnove style MidCentury Modern design 3-light ceiling fixture with brass & circular art glass, holes pattern shade.
This vintage light pendant has a beautiful look and feel and you will hardly ever find a light fixture from the Mid-Century Modern era with a more artistic glass shade. The unique 'sifter-holes-pattern' combined with the striking brass metal elements really make this wonderful light fixture an artwork on your ceiling. And because of its modern look and feel it will also work very well in a 21st century, contemporary interior. Unfortunately we don't know who the designer is, but judging from the rare midcentury design and the quality materials, we feel, this can only be by one of the bigger names in Europe. The combination of this flush mount's large size and its stylish design with the brass elements makes it the perfect 'chandelier' to complement a mid-century modern living room, kitchen area, office or even a bedroom. There is a metal hook inside the canopy via which you can mount this fixture in a matter of minutes. There is a ring and 'nut' just below the canopy. By screwing the nut upward, this fixture can be screwed all the way up and tight to your ceiling. The canopy will then perfectly cover your junction box. The cleanly 'dotted' glass shade and all three brass elements are in perfect condition. In image 12 and 13 you can see how the shade is connected with the canopy via three brass colored arms, making it very stabile as well. Both with the lights switched on and off this handcrafted work of beauty is an absolute joy to look at and it will perfectly balance your living space.
