Large Entrance Hall Lantern from Château Léoube in Bormes

About the Item

Monumental 5-light ormolu entrance hall lantern beautifully designed in Louis XV style. The polylobed mounts are finely decorated with flowery baskets, acanthus leaves, foliated console and pine cone finial. With its original curved glasses. This Napoleon III-period hall lantern comes from Léoube Castle à Bormes-les-Mimosa, in the South of France, circa 1850. Dimensions: W 22 in, D 22in, H 35.4in. Dimensions: L 56cm, P 56cm, H 90cm.
