Large Pair of Pagoda Chinoiserie Gilt Bronze Lanterns, Mid-Century Modern

About the Item

Large pair of Pagoda Chinoiserie gilt bronze lanterns, Mid-Century Modern. Exceptionally decorative and beautiful, each lantern has a pair of candle holders accessible through a hinged glass door. The pagoda shape is accentuated from the curve of the double roof to the faceted sides mimicking bamboo, to the latticework on the top and bottom edges, and ball supports. A hook on each top makes for easy hanging. Their large size and gilt bronze finish evoke the luxury and glamour of Hollywood Regency. A stunning pair.
