Two extraordinary decorative wall sconces, Venice, Italy, mid-19th century. Finely handcrafted of wrought iron, gilded and masterful attention to detail decorated with floral motifs. Gilding very well preserved with splendid patina of the period, overall both pieces in fine antique condition. As these two pieces were made by hand, they are not exact a same, some differences from each other and may have some imperfections. This wonderful and unique wall decoration comes originally a Chapel of Venetian manor house.
