A beautiful and highly decorative pair of Mid-Century-Modern orientable wall sconces, in the style of an iconic model by Pierre Guariche, attributed to Jacques Biny, produced by Luminalite, France, 1950.
These appliques are mounted on a circular black lacquered wall base, a short horizontal arm, and a beautiful orientable free-form shade with circular perforated holes completing the directional lighting by a beautiful graphic effect.
This pair is coming from a set of 6 identical (black lacquered) pieces and 1 extra wall arm with a yellow lacquered shade. All are now available on 1stDibs exclusively. This whole set is in original vintage condition, with visible signs or use, visible rays, time patina, on all surfaces.
