Couple of Applique, France, First Half of the Twentieth Century

About the Item

Pair of two -light appliques in opalescent glass and golden bronze. Fascio structure of lake rods with floral corolla hosting one of the two lights. The main decorative element consisting of stylized fish in opalescent glass, characterized by a sinuous movement and with the tail facing upwards, the latter lying on a leaf base and placed in a projecting position. The ornamental apparatus of opalescent glass water rivoli placed under the animal are completed. The glass parts features small slits and slight shortcomings.
