Large Pair Gilt Maison Baguès Style Flower Leaf Sconces Faceted Crystal Glass
About the Item
Large refined pair of floral Maison Baguès Style leaf sconces or wall lights, France circa 1950s. They are made of gilt iron / metal combined with beautiful faceted crystal glass in clear, amethyst and light brown color with sparkling glass beads forming amazing flowers and leaves. The beautiful two-light appliques have a darker warm patination, they stay in very good original vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. They are new rewired so fine working and ready to use. They take each two E14 standard screw bulbs to illuminate. They are 54 cm / 21.26 inches tall, 30 cm / 11.81 inches wide and 17 cm / 6.69 inches deep. This amazing pair is an eye-catcher and a rarity. It would be a perfect addition and upgrade for any midcentury modern or stylish interior.
