Long Ice Glass Vanity Sconce on a Chrome Frame by Hillebrand, Germany
About the Item
Long, slim ice glass sconce by Hillebrand, Germany, 1960s.
Curved glass shade of bubbled and textured glass over a silver-coloured chrome back plate. White switch to one side. In the main image, natural light is coming through the glass.
The piece is in good condition with minor signs of wear in line with age and use; as might be expected from pieces of this age and nature there may be small imperfections to the glass. The shade is held in place by new chrome screws.
Wiring:
The light takes 4 x E14 bulbs in ceramic lamp-holders; integral switch to back-plate. The wiring is original and we advise this is tested/replaced close to install to ensure it meets your local needs and regulations. As with all vintage lighting, we advise the use of low-heat bulbs to protect the fixture for the future.
Approximate dimensions: H 60 cm x W 8 cm x D 9 cm.
The light will be dismantled for shipping.
