Mid-20th Cent. Neoclassical Cut Brass & Crystal Wedding Cake Wall Lights 'Pair'
About the Item
A pair of neoclassical, handmade, 3-tiered, wedding cake style wall sconces with a cut and hammered brass structure and dangling octagon and icicle-drop crystals. They cast brilliant, geometric light shapes on the wall when lit. They have a triangular backplate with a subtle, unique texture. Each sconce has one medium base socket that points down and is topped by a finial of curving brass leaves.
Mid-20th Century. Newly rewired and polished. Measures: 12” height x 8” width x 4” depth.

Here is a handmade, Neoclassical, 4-tiered, wedding cake-style hanging light fixture from the mid-20th century. It has the original canopy, with a chain leading to the brass stems holding the cluster of 3 medium base sockets and the brass rim cut with a geometric motif. Rows of dangling octagon and icicle drop crystals hang from it in four tiers and it is finished with a cut crystal ball. Newly rewired and polished. 30” height x 10” diameter
