Pair of Art Deco Style Alabaster and Antiqued Brass Sconces
About the Item
This chariming pair of Pair of Art Deco Style Alabaster and Antiqued Brass Sconces originates from Italy during the 20th Century. They feature shades composed of carved alabster with excellent veined detailing illuminated by the light of the bulbs, lined with brass and supported by a curved conical support that extends from a cyllinder, which attaches to the round tiered backplates, mirroring the forms of the alabaster shades. An excellent balance of hues is achieved with the combination of antiqued brass and alabaster, with fabric shades fitted over the bulbs diffusing the light and providing additional material contrast and detailing. A lovely pair, these sconces will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, these sconces are in Excellent Vintage Condition.
