Pair of French 19th Century Charles X Style Five-Arm Sconces

About the Item

A sensational pair of French 19th century Charles X st. Baccarat crystal and ormolu sconces. Each five arm sconce is centered by a beautiful cut crystal ball below a fine fluted ormolu support and reeded bowl. The ormolu backplates display beautiful richly chased foliate designs with elegant scrolled supports in a warm satin and burnished finish. The four striking solid Baccarat crystal arms display a superb scrolled movement with delicate foliate designs and most decorative wonderfully executed cut patterns. At the center is an additional most impressive tapered dagger shaped arm also displaying stunning cuts and a floral candle cup. All original gilt throughout. Measure: Candle height: 10".
