A striking pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu sconces. Each three arm sconce is centered by a charming bottom foliate finial below the elegant tapered body decorated with finely detailed foliate designs, a charming floral reserve, richly chased swaging berried laurel garlands, and the impressive eternal flame above a tied fluted band. The three elegantly scrolled arms are each adorned with berried laurel designs leading to fine circular bobeches in a rich satin and burnish finish and fluted candle cups. All original gilt throughout.
