Pair of Italian Giltwood Sconces Featuring Mythical Dolphins
About the Item
Pair of Italian carved giltwood sconces in the shape of mythical dolphins (midcentury). Each of the dolphins is unique, hand carved and slightly different (note the fins, forward and back). The sconces have two gilt metal arms comprising "C" scrolls, and have been rewired for the US.

Overall very good condition with some expected wear including scratches, and abrasions and scratches to gilding and some oxidation to metal arms, all consistent with age and use. The sconces have been rewired for US.
