Pair of Mid-18th Century Italian Mirrored Giltwood Electrified Sconces

About the Item

A sensational and high quality pair of mid 18th century Italian mirrored giltwood electrified sconces. The pair with all original gilt and mirror plates has a scrolled design with blossoming flowers. Above the bottom carved finial are the two scrolled patinated metal arms with flowers and leaves. At the top is a spectacular central reserve with a theatrical curtain below acanthus leaves and a rosette.
