Exceptional Pair of fine electrified French Neoclassical style gilt bronze wall sconces with two well cast and ornate arms emitting from a central intricately chased bust with foliate headers and flowing beard.. The arms decorated with floral and foliate relief and fluted motifs. The mask is highly detailed and depicts a bearded new-classical figure wearing an acanthus leaf crown. The sconces are stamped LB 1187 on verso. Comes with wax candle covers.
Dimensions: 15" W, 7 1/2" D and 14" H
Condition: There is minor acceptable oxidation to gilt, overall good condition. Please see detail photos for condition.
