Rare Set of 7 Antique Wrought Iron Gothic Revival Dragon Sculpture Wall Sconces
About the Item
Stylish and highly decorative set of Medieval Style candle sconces.
With early 20th century Gothic Art as one of our specialities, we have seen and sold a lot of great and unique pieces, but never did we come across a set of seven hand forged Gothic Revival wall candle sconces with dragon sculptures. These finest of sconces date to the earliest years of the 1900s and they all come with a winged dragon with a door knocker-like ring in their mouths. Each dragon comes with a raised candle holder on either side and these candle holders are all designed in the shape of a Medieval castle tower roof. All handcrafted with a large quantity of forged details this amazing set of seven truly is a joy to own and to look at. If you have a mansion or a large house or a Gothic Style (inspired) castle then finding a place for these rare sconces cannot be too difficult. They will look marvelous everywhere. Thanks to the holes in the brackets for wall mounting, you can rest assure that they can be safely mounted to (screwed onto) your wall. These Gothic dragon sconces will light up both your days and evenings and especially with the (candle) lights in the evenings, the decorative value of these lights is second to none. Mind you, this unique set can also be wired for safe and immediate usage in the USA and they will then come with American E12 sockets with faux candle covers over them. And when purchased by an American client we are happy to also attach American powerplugs.
