About

A wonderful set of three wall lamps, made in Italy and attributed to Stilnovo. Made in the 1950s, each lamp is composed of a lacquered, aluminum shade, a brass arm and mounting base. The shades are in three colors, blue, red and yellow. The lamps have been rewired. The blue and red lamps can swing from left to right as well as to rotate at the shade. The yellow lamp has a fixed arm and rotates only at the shade. Bruno Gatta founded Stilnovo in 1946 in Milan and worked together with a team of Italian business men, who created and produced works of art, that investigated the world of light and of its employment. Through magazines such as Domus they were able to attract talented designers who created unforgettable pieces of art.
