1950s opaline glass sphere tripod table lamp attributed to Stilnovo. This elegantly sculptural table lamp is characteristic of the highly refined Italian lighting design aesthetics of the midcentury era as embodied by the legendary firm of Stilnovo. Executed in opaline glass, brass and painted metal.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their incomparable designs have long been sought after by collectors of fine lighting.
Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
Rewired in new black cloth double-twist cord for 60w equivalent US candelabra LED bulb with period styled push-button on/off switch and US wall plug. Some patination, bends, dings, losses, scuffs and scratching as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
