1960s Arlus French Space Age Chrome White Retro Table Desk Lamp Midcentury
About the Item
This beautiful 1960s French table lamp by Arlus has a very stylish Space Age look. Its slender conical shaft is elegantly curved and goes down to a plate foot metal base, which is white in colour, as is the finial to the top of the spun aluminium shade. Its simple lines and almost floating shade have often been compared to those pieces designed in the 1930s by Jean Perzel.
Overall in good vintage condition with a couple of age related marks, which are detailed in the images. Professionally rewired using 3-core antique brown braided cable.

The company quickly gained recognition for its innovative and stylish lighting designs, which were characterized by their use of high-quality materials and their focus on functionality.
