Original all brass Hans Agne Jakobsson for AB Markaryd table lamp made in Sweden. Features a tall brass column form, ceramic standard socket and original cord. The fixture works and is in fantastic vintage condition. Original red shade included but shown in first photo with temporary white shade. Will include original red shade.
Label of HANS AGNE-JAKOBBSON AB Markyard Made in Sweden on bottom of fixture and Markyard B 132/59 Max 100W on top of fixture column.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
