About the Item

Pair of stylish tall Mid-century Danish table lamps from the acknowledged stoneware manufacturer Søholm. Manufactured circa 1960s. The designer is unknown but we suppose they were designed by Einar Johansen. The lamps have a blue glaze with elements of brown and pale blue. The surface is very vivid because of its shiny glaze and the complex shape. Due to the handmade process and the firing they are not exactly the same but differ slightly in color and dimensions. One lamp is a little bit darker than the other. The lampshades are designed and made in Denmark and are made of woven fabric with some texture and are natural white. They include top covers so they will spread a cozy light downwards. Both lamps are marked fully marked on bottom. Very good vintage condition Minor signs from age and use No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs Measurements: Heights including lampshade: 66,5 cm (26.18") (height can be adjusted) Height with socket: 47 cm (18.50") and 47,5 cm (18.70") Height without socket: 40,5 cm (15.94") and 41 cm (16.14") Width x depth lamp base: 12,5 cm (4.92") and 12,8 cm (5.04") Diameter lampshade: 34 cm (13.39") Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting. The lamps are made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
