19th Century Small Pair of French Chiseled Gilded Bronze Candlesticks

About the Item

19th century, small pair of French chiseled gilded bronze candlesticks The elegant and refined pair of bronze candlesticks finely chiselled and gilded was made in France circa mid-19th century in Louis XVI style. The tripod-shaped objects have a circular base decorated with a bay leaf band. The feet are inserted on the base with decorative elements with foliate motif. The body, suspended on the tripod and decorated with palmette motifs and foliate elements, is supported by a band decorated with geometric motifs. The executive sophistication, the contained dimensions and the brightness of the gilded bronze give the objects easy adaptability, perfect to adorn your furniture or a fireplace and embellish your table set.
