About the Item

This exquisite Art Nouveau table lamp, created circa 1920, is attributed to Alessandro Mazzucotelli (Italy, 1865–1938), one of the most celebrated Italian masters of wrought iron design. The sculptural body, delicately hand-forged in wrought iron, rises like the elegant stem of a flower, showcasing Mazzucotelli’s signature ability to transform metal into organic, sinuous forms. The lamp is crowned with a polychrome glass shade, crafted and painted to resemble the petals of a blossoming flower or plant, a hallmark of the naturalistic aesthetic central to the Art Nouveau movement. Produced in collaboration with Loetz, a leading glass manufacturer, the piece embodies the union of fine ironwork and vibrant glass artistry. Both functional and decorative, it represents the harmony of nature and craftsmanship. Dimensions: 18 × 24 × 41.5 cm / 7.1 × 9.4 × 16.3 in.
