About
Stunning minimalist masterpiece by Angelo Lelli for Arredoluce, 1960 with unique rotating lamp feature. The main cylindrical bosy made of nickel plated brass houses and a brass lamp housing finished in black enamel which can be rotated completely back into its cylindrical housing to leave a pure cylindrical form when not in use or adjusted to any angle between 0-90 degrees. There is a knurled edge rotary switch inset into the enamelled brass base.
This is an extremely rare Lelli model which collectors will recognize and commands a premium price. This is a stunning example with partial Arredoluce label to the underside of the base.
The measurements listed in the measurement section below are taken when the light source is closed inside the cylindrical housing to leave a pure cylindrical form, when the light is fully extended the length/depth of the lamp increases from 2.8" (7cm) to 5.6" (14cm).
