Antique Art Deco Table Lamp from the 1920s
About the Item
An antique Art Deco table lamp with slight Brutalist tones.
In cast aluminum with adjustable height from 50-60cm.
The discovery of aluminium was announced in 1825 by Danish physicist Hans Christian Ørsted.
The lamp is completely original and still has its original Bakelite bulb holder with on/off switch.
Bakelite was invented in 1907 by scientist Leo Hendrik Baekeland.
The lamp also retains its original brass lampshade holder.
In great antique condition with no faults or issues just age related wear and patina.
Rewired with 250cm black twisted cloth flex and grounded.
The aluminum has been lightly polished.
Can be fitted with an EU UK or US electrical plug when sold.
