Bauhaus table lamp WG 24 by Prof. Wilhelm Wagenfeld

About the Item

It's a Wagenfeld lamp "WG24" from Tecnolumen with a glass base, glass tube, and metal dome, and it's from the first series. An absolute rarity! Only the first lamps produced had a metal chain for switching on/off. This was quickly banned by the VDE (Association of German Electrical Engineers) and replaced by a fabric cord, which is still in use today. The year of manufacture can only be determined to a limited extent based on the number, but the lamp with the number 2158 was produced approximately between 1982 and 1985. The chrome-plated parts have a slight patina. Original condition, not cleaned. Slight scratches on the underside of the glass base. A truly older lamp in very good optical and technical condition. Fully functional and 100% original condition. Bulb not included. I only sell used items. The respective items show more or less visible signs of wear, depending on their age.
