About the Item

Table lamp model DL44 produced by Palshus (Denmark). The lamp base is finished with a blue and grey glaze. The chamotte clay gives a natural and living surface. It is signed under the base (PLS for Per Linnemann-Schmidt). Palshus has been founded by Per and his wife Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt. The couple created and produced chamotte (danish clay) objects with impressed decorations (tableware, vases, and lamps). Their design is timeless, these lamps have a contemporary and graphic side despite being over 50 years old. Colors were characteristic Scandinavian earthy tones: blues, browns, greens and beige. Many other talented ceramic artists also worked for Palshus including Jens H. Quistgaard and Esben Klint. It comes with a new lampshade. The lamp has been re-electrified. It works on 110V and 220V. E26/E27 socket. The EU plug can be replaced by an US version free of charge. Dimension of the lampshade: diameter 13.78" / 7,87" (30cm / 20cm), height 13,78" (30cm). Height of the lamp base including socket 14.57" (37cm)
