About the Item
The Dome lamp is a brutalist-inspired table lamp, perfect for accent lighting in all spaces, created by Streicher Goods in Brooklyn, NY.
The Dome lamp has a cylindrical form with a dome-like top, with a sliced opening, creating a large, curved cavity that is the main feature of the lamp. This design allows light to emanate directly from the interior space, bouncing the light cast from the light bulb that is positioned at the top of the cavity and hidden from sight. The exterior surface has a rough, painted texture, suggesting it might be made from a material like concrete or marble. This gives the lamp a rugged, industrial appearance while the simple design feels brutalist and contemporary.
Each piece in the "Deep Reflections" Collection is hand-painted, using various techniques to build up the acrylic paint, creating the faux rock-like appearance to the outside of the ceramic piece.
