About the Item
The Hi-Hat lamp is a tall and broad brutalist-inspired table lamp, perfect for bedside or accent lighting in larger living spaces, created by Streicher Goods in Brooklyn, NY.
The lamp is composed of a cylindrical base that supports two overlapping, bowl-like shades, creating a compact and sturdy structure.
The shades are positioned one above the other, with a visible gap in between, allowing light to diffuse through and illuminate its surrounding.
12The exterior of the Hi-Hat lamp has been decorated using acrylic paint and various techniques to achieve the stone-like appearance, transforming the ceramic into what can be perceived as concrete or stone. The outside cooler tones of contrast against the warmth of the bronze interior and warm bulbs. Atop the lamp sits a large unfinished brass dome that functions not only a decorative element but as the touch-switch to choose the brightness.
Each piece in the "Deep Reflections" Collection is hand-painted, using various techniques to build up the acrylic paint, creating the faux rock-like appearance to the outside of the ceramic piece.
