Danish Modern Kähler Sculptural Table Lamp Amber Yellow by P E Eliasen, 1960s
About the Item
Sculptural Mid-century Danish table lamp from the ceramic studio Kähler (HAK). The lamp was designed by Poul Erik Eliasen and manufactured ca. 1960s or early 1970s.
The lamp is made of stoneware and has a glossy amber yellow glaze. The ceramic part of neck of the lamp is finished by a small brass disc, on top of this the socket.
Marked on bottom with HAK (for Herman August Kähler) and P E E (for Poul Erik Eliasen) and model number.
Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.
The lamp is in very, very good vintage condition.
Measurements:
Height with lamp shade: 58 cm (22.83") (height can be slightly adjusted)
Height without socket (ceramic base only): 35,3 cm (13.90")
Diameter bottom of base: 11 cm (4.33")
Diameter lamp shade: 30 cm (11.81")
Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.
The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
