About the Item

This lamp would be nice enough with just one arm, but with 2 arms that really makes it special. It is most impressive sitting there, polished brass with 2 handsome shades having a design on the borders that match the design on the base. An example that I have never seen after my almost 50 years of selling antique lighting. There is open work on the top of the shades that not only adds to the look, but also allows heat to escape. As an added feature, the arms are jointed so the angle of the shades can be adjusted. Our measurement of the width was done with the arms evenly centered. Rewired for safety, and an iron weight on the bottom to give it extra stability. Hard to believe, but not even one ding or dent in the shades or base. This lamp was really cared for. A great fit for any desk, or elsewhere with the ability to give lots of light.
