Ebonized Maple and Cherry Bedside Lamp, Marty I
About the Item
Small with a big presence, the Marty inhabits intimate spaces, scaled for the bedside or tabletop. Turned, ebonized maple base with a cherry neck and finial. This lamp is 14” tall with an 8” diameter trimless, natural linen shade. Equipped with bass hardware with a full rotation dimmer switch, black fabric-covered cord, and has one 60W max 120V E26 lamps.

Pletz
The Pletz lighting collection presents modernist forms with a traditional sense of material and craft. Pletz lamps combine lathe-turned, hardwood elements, hand-applied finishes, solid brass hardware and natural linen shades. The designers draw inspiration from the sculptural traditions of artists like Brancusi and Noguchi and the seductive surfaces of Art Deco interiors. Pletz is the husband and wife team of Aaron & Heather Shoon. We operate from our studio in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Pletz lamps are made from FSC Certified timber, and are finished with traditional, organic materials, like shellac, natural linseed oil and beeswax. WORKING WITH THE TRADE We love to work with designers and architects. We offer trade discounts, UL certification, and custom services.
