About the Item
Rare mid-century Danish table lamp from the acknowledged stoneware manufacturer Søholm. Made circa 1960s.
Tall ceramic table lamp designed by Einar Johansen for Søholm, Denmark. Made ca. 1960s.
The glaze of the lamp remind of the Nordic light phenomon Auroroa Borealis and shifts between pale blue, purple and caramel brown.
The lamp is handmarked on bottom Søholm Stentøj Denmark, stamped EJ logo (for Einar Johansen)
Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and the color is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition.

Height with lampshade as shown in images: 52 cm (20.47") (height can be adjusted)
Height without socket (ceramic part only): 27,3 cm (10.75")
Diameter base: 14 cm (5.51")
Diameter with lampshade: 32 cm (12.60")
Light bulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.
The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
