About the Item
The contrast of deep wood tones and the brass base and middle section give this lamp a finished look. The brass patina is developed. This victorian style desk lamp is attractive for its compact form and original pinch-pleat lampshade among other features. The lamp is the perfect size and weight for a light source on a desk or writing table. The lamp has an antique wood veneered surface and brass-tone iron mix of metals.
The lamp is surmounted by a later pleated fabric shade, and there is a turned columnar shaft with applied brass-tone iron "reel" halfway up the column, all on a stepped circular base.
It is in good working condition and measures 20.25 inches tall and 7.25 inches in diameter.
