About the Item
The soft pink lamp with its "Barbiecore" aesthetic feels modern and fresh, but it is late 20th century. This was a wonderful auction find that we wanted to add to our collection of eclectic lamps. It is a ceramic flower-pot form table lamp made by Fine Art Lamps, Hialeah, Florida.
Of urn form with pink glaze, flaring lip and wrapped neck with applied white pottery foliate motifs, on a circular white iron base. Each of the leaf forms are constructed from pottery. The pottery appears to have a soft finish that presents as a dusty or powdery finish. The lamp rests on an iron circular stand that complements the ring that encircles the leaves near the top of the lamp. Beautiful. Marked to the bottom. Surmounted by a flaring fabric shade.
The lamp is 32 inches high overall; diameter 12 inches.

Located in Lomita, CA
This lamp is so special, so elegant and hard to find. The palette is attractive in ivory with leaves in various shades of green and gray that appear to be falling on this vintage botanical hand-painted porcelain vasiform table lamp. This is attributed to Europe from the mid 20th century.
There is a signature painted with a brush near the base of the lamp. The lamp's base is porcelain with gilt trim that is wearing in some sections. The plug is older and dates to mid-century or earlier. It presents well with an added white shade that is not included. It measures 33 inches tall from base to finial and 5 inches by 5 inches wide. The lamp's harp is old and unattractive with deep oxidation, and it will be replaced before delivery unless the buyer asks otherwise.
