French Midcentury Solid Crystal Table Lamp
About the Item
Sculptural midcentury solid crystal table lamp from France, in the style of Daum Nancy, circa 1960. It’s an intriguing shape: a rounded pyramid of three sides with channeled edges to create an optical illusion like flowing water. The remarkably clear glass is produced entirely by hand, according to the original sticker (in French). “Cristal” is etched on the base without any other visible attribution marks to the artist or studio. The new white linen shade is the perfect complement, softly diffusing the standard-base bulb. Professionally cleaned and rewired for US electrical using UL-listed parts, including the gray fabric cord. Please view the detailed images to see more of this unique table lamp.
