Iconic Pair of Bauhaus WG24 Table Lamps by Prof. Wilhelm Wagenfeld

About the Item

Iconic Pair of Bauhaus WG24 Table Lamps by Prof. Wilhelm Wagenfeld (Designed 1924) Made by Tecnolumen, Germany – Numbered and Authenticated Step into the essence of Bauhaus design with this rare and elegant pair of WG24 table lamps, conceived in 1924 by Prof. Wilhelm Wagenfeld, a leading figure of the Bauhaus movement. These lamps are not just lighting pieces—they are celebrated design icons that embody the principles of functional elegance, geometric purity, and timeless craftsmanship. Design & Materials: Each lamp features a beautifully proportioned milk glass dome shade, paired with a clear glass tube stem and a solid glass disc base, accentuated with nickel-plated hardware. The harmony between glass and metal reflects Wagenfeld’s vision of “industrial aesthetics” made accessible to modern interiors. These particular lamps were crafted by Tecnolumen, the only authorized producer of the original WG24 design. They bear the Tecnolumen stamp and individual serial numbers on the bottom, certifying their authenticity. Condition: Both lamps are in superb vintage condition, fully functional, and ready for use. Their minimalist elegance makes them perfect for interiors ranging from Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern to contemporary or eclectic spaces. About the Designer – Wilhelm Wagenfeld (1900–1990): Often referred to as the “Bauhaus lamp,” the WG24 was designed by Wagenfeld while he was still a student at the Bauhaus under the guidance of László Moholy-Nagy. Wagenfeld later became one of Germany’s most influential industrial designers, known for merging fine design with mass production. His works are included in the permanent collections of MoMA New York and other major design museums worldwide. Why This Pair Stands Out: True Bauhaus design from 1924 Authentic Tecnolumen production, made in Germany Numbered and stamped for provenance Harmonious use of glass and metal materials A collector’s piece and functional artwork Own a pair of design history. Whether you’re a collector, a Bauhaus aficionado, or simply someone with an eye for timeless design, these lamps are an investment in enduring beauty. Price is per lamp.
