Iridescent Pair of Black and Gold Ceramic High Glaze Mid Century Table Lamps

About the Item

The high glaze and the dramatic contrast of the black and gold banding makes this pair stand out in a living area. The gold center section with the cross-band pattern is stunning. The ceramic quality and condition is excellent and feels contemporary rather than 1950s to '60s lighting. The gold flecks in the cross-banded center of the lamps presents a sort of Holltwood Regency flair, but these pre-date the official arrival of that period. We believe these lamps are so collectible. The shape and color impart a trendy, modern look. There are no defects to these smashing lamps. They measure 26 inches tall and 6 inches wide at the base and 6 inches deep. The base is covered with the original mid-century felt fabric.
