Italian 19th Century Red and Giltwood Shield Shape Fragment Table Lamp

About the Item

A 19th century Italian fragment table lamp. This table lamp has been fashioned from a 19th century Italian fragment mounted onto a newer Lucite base. This lamp features a beautiful fragment carved with volutes and acanthus leaves down opposing sides. The top is flat and wider in girth, becoming more narrow towards the fragment bottom. The lamp is gilded and painted with a red center, raised on a rectangular-shaped Lucite stand. The backside of the lamp is undecorated, therefore would be perfectly placed on a table against a wall. This Italian fragment lamp has been rewired for the US.
