About the Item

This finely carved and robust Baroque urn made as a lamp standard, though now unwired, was made in Italy. The gilding is very good and shows nice wear and patina with traditional red boulle work underneath the gilding. Made to resemble 18th-century objects and done in the time-honored fashion of old-world craftsmanship, this item can be a decorative element with out the lamp part top or be instantly converted to a very nice lamp with wiring. We will have the lamp wired at the customers request at no additional expense using silk wrapped wire and quality lamp parts
