Rare, pair of Mid-Century Modern, marbled, circle, table lamps with custom made, linen shades, 41cm, 16” high
Striking and unusual, injecting Classic design, balance and softness into the interior
- The circle with a central point or hole is an ancient symbol in art representing wholeness, eternity, infinity and balance.
- The earth palette of the marbling in tones of light yellow and grey ochre and sienna is soft, textured and tactile.
- The sienna toning around the edges is a subtle effect creating depth in the body of the lamps.
- Juxtapose with period interiors and blend into modern and contemporary schemes.
- Supplied with a pair of custom made yellow ochre linen, oval shades.
- The electrical fittings are replaced conforming to UK Electrical standards.
