Large White Oba-Q "Ghost" K Series Lamp by Shiro Kuramata

About the Item

This Shiro Kuramata ghost lamp. A novel collectors furnishing, this is a great conversation piece. The clever design resembles a white cloth floating or suspended in midair. The ghost Lampshade, made of white acrylic glass, goes over a metal single leg base that is also painted white. The lampshade itself is also self-supporting as it rests on its 4-point base. It lights up any room or space quite well. This Mid-Century Modern work of art was designed for Yamagiwa. If you are looking for something fun, unique, and imaginative, this Kuramata ghost Lamp is perfect. Has original make and series stickers on lampshade and base: KS-S series, SHIRO KURAMATA. Excellent condition, flawless. 1970s.
