Midcentury Piano Lamp / Table Lamp, made by Hillebrand - Germany, 1960s
About the Item
Design classic of the 70s: Massive table lamp/piano lamp from Egon Hillebrand, Neheim, West Germany, 1970s, model type 7383-231.
The lamp has a heavy metal base with a black finish. The surface is textured and resembles the shrink varnish finishes from the 1950s. The shade has a smooth black finish and can be tilted using a joint. Another joint is located at the foot of the chrome-plated lamp neck. Both joints can be adjusted. The wide lamp has two E 14 sockets made of plastic. The lamp is switched on and off using a large chrome-plated push button switch in the middle of the base. The lamp is very solidly made and is in very good condition.
