Holmegaard "Claridge", design Michael Bangs, Holmegaard, height: 31 cm (incl socket) Michael Bang (1942-2013) was the son of the first Holmegaard designer Jacob E. Bang. Michael Bang was a designer at Odense Glassworks in the 1960s and 1970s and moved to Holmegaard with his family in the 1980s, where he found a job at Holmegaard Glassworks. Here he was responsible for the design of hand-blown lamps made of opal white glass, the specialty of the glass factory.
