This stunning model “542” glass table lamp was designed in 1939 and produced by Boréns throughout the 1940s. The model reflects the company’s reputation for meticulous craftsmanship and elegant design, showcasing their incredible decorative glass work. Boréns, established in 1924, was one of Sweden’s leading lighting manufacturers in the mid-20th century, known for combining refined artistry with modern practicality, creating pieces that elevated everyday interiors while staying rooted in functionality.
The lamp’s base is composed of richly textured glass, its rounded shape featuring organic relief patterns catch and refract light even when unlit.
