About the Item
The TōRō lamp is a unique table lamp that will bring to your interior a modern-retro style functional piece. The origami-inspired lampshade is made of laminated linen fabric providing a bright, yet soft ambient light and showing the beautiful texture of the linen. The material softly diffuses the light emphasizing the geometric pattern.
The hand-crafted wooden base adds soft curves bringing balance to the hand-folded geometric origami pattern of the shade.

La Loupe Design
La Loupe is an independent design studio, that creates handcrafted lighting and decor, founded by Jorgelina Lopez and her husband Marco Duenas.
Believing in the beauty and value of slow and sustainable production, their work seeks to explore artisanal processes with new technologies and creative concepts. The name of their studio ( loupe / lüp/: small magnifying glass) symbolizes the process of exploration and discovery, representing the visual attention they bring to their designs. With an aesthetic drawn from the 20th-century art and design movements, geometric forms and clean lines are reflected in the pieces they craft. Each piece is created and handcrafted by them at their textile studio and woodshop in Baltimore City, Maryland - USA
